I am a certified information technology professional residing in Southwest Michigan. I grew up in Northern Lower Michigan around the telephone company CO's introducing me to technology and the concept of connected systems. In the beginning of my professional career I spent 4 years as an I.T. Technician before stepping into a Network Engineer role in a large healthcare orginization. Since completing his Associates Degree in Network Administration I have taken a head on approach to career enrichment through obtaining credentials such as CCNP, CCNA Voice, CCDP. This passion for continued learning allows him to deliver up to date quality technical solutions. I maintain an occasional blog over at PacketPilot.com

A little look into what I like to do outside of work
After years of not playing I picked up adult league hockey once again. Most every Sunday I can be found trying my best but usually missing the net!
I picked up percussion in the 6th grade and althought the garage band days are over I still sit down at the drumset from time to time.
Aurora is my 6 year old Boxer. You can catch us going on walks a couple times throughout the day. Weather permitting of course. We do live in Michigan.
Year round I can be found using one of my three grills or busting out the cast iron on the range and overall just making a mess.
If it's nice outside I'll take casual cruise around one of the inland lakes, a ride up the bikeway, or a quick turn around the nature preserve.
It's a mandatory hobby when you live in the midwest not far from the Great Lakes. 6 months of Lake Effect snow is a constant effort to keep clean.
